September 5 is “International Day of Charity.” To celebrate the occasion, here are four charity organizations in Dumaguete City where you can donate to or do some volunteer work:
New Life Children’s Home
This orphanage based in Bacong takes in children who are victims of poverty and are provided with their basic needs. They also have ministries that teach them basic Christian values. Donate: https://www.nlch.org/support-us/
Rainbow Village Ministries
The goal of this ministry is to serve as a beacon of hope for children and women who were orphaned, abused and rejected. They would also aid the children in reuniting with their biological family or place them in a permanent adoptive family. FB page: https://web.facebook.com/RainbowVillageMinistries/?_rdc=1&_rdr
