Architecture Student to Join Business Leadership Program

by Joellie Belle Badon | May 17, 2022

Ray Kerry Dacoseo, a fourth-year BS Architecture student, will join other student leaders across the country in the month-long American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines: Business Leadership Program (AmCham BLP) 2022.

The AmCham BLP aims to provide Filipino students ‘access and interaction’ with the Philippines’ top companies and executives.

The program will highlight understanding of the role of business in national development, as well as in critical global business and economic issues to help the participants in their future endeavors.

Dacoseo expressed that he is already excited and considers it as an avenue to learn, engage and foster collaboration with his fellow participants.

“Through these opportunities, I believe that the youth are encouraged and shaped to become informed and empathetic leaders who will rise up to the challenge for our future — leaders built upon competence and excellence, encapsulating the value of service while empowering the rest of the community,” he said.

The program will be participated by 18 university colleges, which include participants from De La Salle University, Enderun Colleges, Far Eastern University, University of the Philippines Diliman, University of the Philippines Visayas – Iloilo, University of San Carlos in Cebu, Mindanao State University, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, among others.

Since 2003, the AmCham BLP has been an intensive immersion program in which top students from around the country have been exposed to major companies for speeches, discussions, and mentorships to strengthen their abilities as future business leaders.

Daceseo will attend that program this June until July 2022.
